What the University is Doing

U Recycle Day On U Recycle Day, bring your unwanted electronics and personal documents to U Recycle Day. Participants are also invited to donate non-perishable food items, which will be given to the on-campus Feed U food pantry. This event is open to the University of Utah community and Salt Lake residents and is hosted by the U’s Sustainability Office and Salt Lake County Health Department, with support from Samsung, Swire Coca-Cola, and the U’s Commuter Services department. Please bring residential items only; business materials will not be accepted.

When: Friday, April 21, 2017 | 8 am-12 pm
What: Recycling event for e-waste, paper shredding, and food donation
Where: NEW LOCATION! Bring items to Guardsman parking lot, 500 South Guardsman Way (1500 East)

Recycling programs

There are several recycling programs around the campus that handle waste for specific areas or materials these programs are managed by Facilities Management.
